Salena Taezaz is a native resident of the Crystal Desert. She is the oldest and thus general leader of a small village of mostly children and teenagers. She uses her incredible skill with long ranged weapons and overall combat skills to both hunt big game for her many adopted siblings and also take down and cash in on legendary desert bounties.

When Denzel, Ainslae, Naeem and Xafflen arrive int he Crystal Desert, she is 17. She finds them on one of her bounty excursions and brings them back to the village. She teaches them how to ride mounts, how to find water in the desert (without drinking choya juices), and how to generally survive in the unforgiving wastes.
